Our handcrafted cocktails were designed not only to stimulate your pallet but also to liberate you from sacrificing flavor for things like calories and carb counting. Come visit the healthiest bar on Rainey Street! ​ Augustine, is located in the heart of the historic Rainey Street district in Austin. This charming house was built in 1889 by an Augustus Basnett. When converting this old home into a bar, each selection was made true to the history of the building. SLIC design selected the colors & textures to compliment the rich history of Rainey Street and the building, and create a warm and fun atmosphere for its patrons. Dark green & brass were utilized as the primary scheme for the bar, generating a timeless ambiance for any visitor. ​ The name Austin is a derivative of Augustine which is perfect. Augustine embodies what our beloved city, Austin is all about. Good times with friends in a laid-back yet sophisticated, fun atmosphere with 300 days of sunshine. ​ We are looking forward to meeting you and creating a true Austin experience.
