The Franklin Mortgage & Investment Co.
Cocktail bars in Philadelphia
The Franklin Mortgage & Investment Co. is a craft cocktail bar on the lobby level of a hotel on Rittenhouse Square, operating with a speakeasy style atmosphere of dark wood, plush seating, and mood lighting. Opened in 2009 as one of Philadelphia's first speakeasy style cocktail bars, it built its reputation on prohibition era techniques and a seasonal, house developed cocktail menu. For private events, the venue offers four distinct rooms: a small Private Dining Room and the Raj Scotch Library, each holding up to about 10 guests for an intimate seated gathering, the Parlor for groups up to about 30 with natural light and lounge seating, and the main bar space known as the Franklin for gatherings up to about 80 guests. Each room has its own high end audio setup for music or speeches. The bar sits directly on Rittenhouse Square in Center City Philadelphia, and event inquiries go through the venue's dedicated events form.

Nice place and cocktail was good. A bit on the high side and appeared to be pre-made but still enjoyed the taste.
