Woody's has operated as a Gayborhood nightlife institution in Washington Square West for more than four decades, growing into a multi-room complex on Walnut Street. The building houses the main bar and dance floor along with connected spaces including The Suite, a dance lounge described on the venue's site as a frequent host for private events, and Rosewood, an Art Deco style cocktail lounge with live DJ sets. An adjoining space called Globar adds another dance-party room to the complex.
