Please Touch Museum at Memorial Hall

Please Touch Museum operates out of Memorial Hall, a domed Beaux-Arts building constructed as the art gallery for the 1876 Centennial Exhibition and now a National Historic Landmark in Fairmount Park. Alongside its children's museum, the building runs a private event program covering non-profit fundraisers, corporate galas, university events, proms, and holiday parties. Named event spaces include Hamilton Hall, a 60 foot domed room with a marble dance floor and a toy replica of the Statue of Liberty's arm and torch; the South Foyer entrance and ceremony space; the Independence Blue Cross Carousel House, built around a restored early 1900s Dentzel carousel with its own separate entrance; and smaller rooms including a scale model of the 1876 World's Fair and a meeting room built for video conferencing. Brulee Catering is the exclusive food and beverage provider. Rentals range from small meetings to a full-building buyout, and private venue tours of the Grand Ballroom and Carousel House are available by appointment.
