Adventure Aquarium

Adventure Aquarium sits on the Camden waterfront directly across the Delaware River from Center City Philadelphia and runs a dedicated events and catering division for private rentals. Its primary rental room, the Currents Ballroom, has floor to ceiling windows into the 550,000 gallon Shark Realm exhibit along with views of the Philadelphia skyline, and the South Seas exhibit area is also available for evening bookings. The aquarium serves as its own exclusive caterer and beverage provider, and outside catering is not permitted. Rentals typically run three to five hours plus setup and teardown time and always include a food and beverage package, with house furnishings and linens provided as part of the rental. Event types include holiday parties, proms, corporate events, bar and bat mitzvahs, and family milestone celebrations. Because the venue sits inside a working public aquarium, private events take place alongside more than 100 exhibits of marine life rather than in a converted banquet space.
