West Laurel Hill Cemetery is a National Historic Landmark burial ground and accredited arboretum on the Main Line in Bala Cynwyd, just across City Avenue from Philadelphia. Alongside its role as a working cemetery, it operates a private rental program built around two indoor spaces, the sun-filled Conservatory Greenhouse and the historic Chapel of Peace, both of which also open onto landscaped garden grounds for outdoor cocktail receptions. The cemetery works with an exclusive named caterer for events. Rentals are used for weddings, receptions, and other private gatherings that take advantage of the property's Victorian era monuments, mature tree collection, and formal plantings rather than a conventional banquet interior. The grounds are part of a combined property with the older Laurel Hill Cemetery in Philadelphia proper, and together they hold more than 265 acres, though only the West Laurel Hill site has indoor rental spaces.
