The National Constitution Center is a museum dedicated to the U.S. Constitution, sited on Independence Mall a few blocks from Independence Hall. Its event program is built around the Kenneth C. Griffin Great Hall, a 12,000 square foot open space, and the adjoining Great Hall Overlook, which has a 60 foot ceiling and a wall of windows facing Independence Mall along with exclusive after-hours access to the museum's Signers' Hall exhibit. Additional rentable spaces include a rooftop terrace above the mall, the glass-enclosed Chairman's Room, the 184-seat F.M. Kirby Auditorium, the Delegates' Cafe, and a smaller Freedom Classroom. All packages are run in-house, with the museum providing setup, cleanup, event planning, in-house bar and catering, and lighting and sound as part of the rental. Full building buyouts are available for large-scale galas. The permanent stage in the auditorium and the auditorium's four wheelchair-accessible seating areas are built into the room rather than added for each event.
