Cescaphe Ballroom

Cescaphe Ballroom sits on North 2nd Street in Northern Liberties, in a building that once housed the Imperial Movie Theater before Cescaphe Event Group converted it into an event space. The main room has cathedral ceilings, crystal chandeliers, and a hardwood dance floor beneath a candlelit stage. A full service bar runs along a forty foot mahogany bar, and the venue also offers a raw bar station and chef attended action stations for receptions. Four balconies overlook the main ballroom, and a grand staircase is used for ceremony entrances and photography, with Juliet balconies as an additional backdrop. Three separate cocktail spaces, a garden courtyard, a lounge, and a main cocktail room, allow the venue to stage cocktail hour apart from the reception. The building's theater origins are still visible in its scale and sightlines, and it functions today as a dedicated venue for weddings and other formal private events in the Northern Liberties and Fishtown area of Philadelphia.
