The Lucy

The Lucy is a Cescaphe Event Group venue on South Broad Street, on Philadelphia's Avenue of the Arts in Center City. The interior takes a modern approach to nineteenth century detailing, combining European inspired brass chandeliers and marble accents with painted white brick, ivory wall paneling, and chevron patterned wood floors. The venue is organized into two distinct event spaces, a main ballroom and a separate mezzanine level, giving hosts the option to split cocktail hour from the reception or use the mezzanine as an overflow or lounge area during a larger event. Its Broad Street address puts it within walking distance of the Kimmel Center and Academy of Music, in the theater district at the southern edge of Center City. As with Cescaphe's other properties, the venue is used primarily for weddings and other formal private receptions rather than public ticketed events.
