Vetri Cucina is chef Marc Vetri's Italian tasting menu restaurant, set inside a historic Spruce Street townhouse and serving a single multi course tasting menu each night. In 2014 the restaurant added a second floor private dining space with its own dedicated kitchen and service team, separate from the main dining room below. The room is appointed with a custom hand blown Murano glass chandelier and a vintage espresso machine, and events there begin with a reception and sparkling wine in the open kitchen before guests move to the formal dining space. It seats up to 22 guests at a formal table or up to 10 for an intimate chef's counter experience, and is used for private dinners, engagement celebrations and corporate events that want the full Vetri tasting menu in a room of their own. Vetri Cucina sits at 1312 Spruce Street in Center City, a few blocks from Rittenhouse Square.
