White Dog Cafe University City

White Dog Cafe has operated on Sansom Street in University City since 1983, occupying a row of connected Victorian brownstones across from the University of Pennsylvania campus. The kitchen has long emphasized local and regional sourcing, building a seasonal American menu that changes quarterly. The building holds a series of distinctly decorated private and semi private rooms, including an Expanded Brownstone space and a Wine Cellar lined with wine barrels, in addition to the main dining rooms, giving groups a choice of settings within the same restaurant. Private Event Concierges work with hosts on customized party packages for lunches, dinners, meetings and celebrations. The rooms accommodate groups from small private dinners up to larger receptions. White Dog Cafe sits at 3420 Sansom Street, in the heart of University City's restaurant row, and remains one of the neighborhood's longest running restaurants.
