Elstowe Manor at Elkins Estate was built in 1898 by William L. Elkins on 42 rolling acres in Elkins Park. The interiors were designed by the French firm Allard et Fils and keep their Gilded Age detailing, including a grand ballroom with hand-painted murals and high ceilings. The grounds hold formal gardens, fountains and pathways used for outdoor ceremonies. The estate seats up to 250 guests for a dinner and can host 300 for a cocktail-style reception. Two getting-ready suites, a Glam Room and a Billiard and Smoking Lounge, are set aside for the wedding party, and the property offers 69 guest rooms for overnight stays. Catering is run in house with a chef-driven, farm-to-table program and a wine list that has won Wine Spectator recognition. The estate provides complimentary valet parking and is fully wheelchair accessible.
