National Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fame

Museums in Fort Worth

Up to 400 guests
·1720 Gendy Street, Fort Worth, TX 76107, USA

The National Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fame sits in the Fort Worth Cultural District and rents its exhibit galleries, theaters, lobby and three story Rotunda for private events up to 400 guests. The Rotunda, filled with natural light beneath its domed ceiling and lined with Hall of Fame portraits honoring women of the American West, works as a reception space with room for a dance floor. Renting the venue includes round and buffet tables, black chairs, and staff to set up and break down the room, with additional linens and cocktail tables available to rent. Event coordinator M. Russell handles inquiries directly, and the museum requires an off duty Fort Worth police officer on site whenever alcohol is served. The Desert Rose gift shop can stay open during events for guest shopping, and the galleries double as a backdrop for bridal portraits. The museum states that people using wheelchairs and other mobility aids are welcome in all facilities and areas.

I have been there twice and love this museum. I particularly enjoy the Annie Oakley hologram, the bronco ride and the exhibit for Temple Grandin.
