Dallas Zoo

The Dallas Zoo rents individual pavilions and, for the largest events, the entire 106 acre grounds for private functions after hours. The Flamingo Room holds 80 to 100 guests, while Base Camp and the Hippo Hut each seat 50 to 60 indoors or 100 with their outdoor decks, and the ZooNorth Pavilion scales up to 350 or more. A Zoo Buyout opens the Gregg Hudson Giants of the Savanna area for up to 2,000 guests with giraffe feeding and predator demonstrations included, and a Full Zoo Buyout extends exclusive access to the entire property for up to 8,000 guests with animal encounters built into the package. SSA Group holds the exclusive catering and bar contract for all zoo events. The zoo's Group Sales department handles corporate events, weddings, receptions and group outings, with published per venue pricing that varies by day of week and daytime versus evening hours. The zoo states that its pathways are wheelchair accessible throughout and that wheelchairs are available at the main entrance.
