Fort Worth Zoo

The Fort Worth Zoo rents seven named venues across its grounds for private events, ranging from the Portraits of the Wild art gallery, which holds 75 to 150 guests, to the Reserve, an events pavilion in the African Savanna exhibit that scales from 300 up to 1,200 or more. The Reserve pipes in chilled air for summer events and adds tent sides and heaters for winter bookings, making it usable year round, while the Bluebonnet Cafe and Deck and the Crocodile Cafe host smaller evening galas and fundraisers inside Texas Wild, and the Picnic Outpost suits casual daytime group gatherings. Texas Wild itself can be rented in full for events up to 3,000 guests. Food, staging and trained event staff are all provided in house rather than through an outside caterer, and close up animal encounters can be added to weddings, corporate retreats and rehearsal dinners. The zoo publishes an accessibility guide and states that the majority of its grounds are accessible to wheelchairs and mobility devices, with a limited number of complimentary wheelchairs available at the entrance.
