Reata occupies a four story building at the historic Throckmorton Street tower in downtown Fort Worth, serving Texan and Southwestern dishes like tenderloin tamales and blackened buffalo rib eye. Two small private rooms, the Cactus Room and the Cowboy Room, hold intimate business lunches and family gatherings on the main floors. The building's main event draw is its rooftop, a mix of indoor and outdoor areas including the Sunset Deck, Luna Vista Dome, Caballo Canyon and a rooftop bar, which Reata rents out as a full buyout for wedding receptions and large private parties, recommending exclusive use of the entire level for privacy. Depending on which combination of rooftop areas is booked, the space holds between roughly 125 and 200 guests for a buffet style reception, each tier carrying its own food and beverage minimum. A named Private Dining Coordinator handles bookings, and the restaurant provides a written wedding reception information sheet covering menu format, beverage service and setup policies. Reata pipes in house music rather than allowing outside bands or DJs for rooftop events.
