The Mercury is a French and Mediterranean influenced restaurant near Preston Center in North Dallas, built around a sushi bar alongside its main kitchen. The restaurant sets aside three private event spaces, the Manhattan Room, the Wine Room and the smaller Small Manhattan Room, each fitted with flat screen TVs, projectors with optional screens and wireless microphones. The three rooms can be booked separately or combined, with the full set holding up to 150 guests for a seated dinner or 225 for a cocktail reception. The Mercury hosts wedding ceremonies, rehearsal dinners, bridal showers, anniversary dinners and business dinners, and event inquiries go through an online booking request built on the Tripleseat platform rather than a general contact form. It is operated by M Crowd Restaurant Group, which runs several other Dallas area restaurants, and the Preston Center location has been open long enough to build a regular base of repeat corporate clients from the surrounding office towers.
