Hall of State at Fair Park
Banquet halls in Dallas
An Art Deco monument built by the State of Texas for the 1936 Centennial Exposition, now operated as a rental venue by the Dallas Historical Society within Fair Park. Over 6,000 square feet of function space spans several distinct rooms, including the Hall of Heroes for cocktails, the Great Hall for seated dinners and dancing, the Margaret and Al Hill Lecture Hall for meetings, and the Texas Rooms for smaller gatherings or product launches. The building can hold functions from 10 to 900 guests, and renters can add clear tents on the front lawn for outdoor dancing. Detailed floor plans exist for the auditorium, lecture hall, and each named room. The hall is not available during September and October because of the State Fair of Texas. Coordinator Monica Wilson handles inquiries and books dates for corporate meetings, luncheons, receptions, and formal dinners inside a building known for its murals and Centennial era architecture.
