A 19 story Curio Collection by Hilton hotel in downtown Dallas, built in 1956 and reopened in 2018 after a full restoration. The Grand Ballroom spans 11,500 square feet under 19 foot ceilings and can be configured for standing events up to 1,600 people or seated events from 250 to 1,450, with portable staging that includes sections of the hotel's original 1956 stage. Two entertainment suites and a green room support performers and wedding parties, and a catwalk allows access above the floor for lighting and production. Beyond the ballroom, the hotel offers a rooftop venue called Waterproof for outdoor cocktail receptions, private dining at the restaurant Fine China for rehearsal dinners, and the speakeasy style Bourbon & Banter for bachelor or bachelorette parties. The original Statler hosted performers including Frank Sinatra and the Jackson 5, and the reopened hotel continues that entertainment legacy with a regular calendar of ballroom events.
