92NY, the Lexington Avenue institution long known as the 92nd Street Y, rents five distinct spaces for parties, conferences, screenings, and performances alongside its year-round schedule of concerts, talks, and classes. The Kaufmann Concert Hall, its main performance venue, includes use of the adjoining Hall of Mirrors lobby, a Steinway concert grand piano, full ushering staff, and a professional lighting and audio team, with published technical specifications and a seating chart available for download. Buttenwieser Hall, a flexible ballroom-style space with a proscenium stage and muraled ceiling, seats 248 theater style or 200 for banquet dinners and holds 250 for a standing reception. The Warburg Lounge is a 1,508 square foot flexible space off the main lobby, the Weill Art Gallery doubles as an exhibition and event space, and the Nancy and Jeffrey Lane and Fredric Mack Family gymnasiums, each with maple wood floors, rent for parties, photo shoots, and group events. 92NY's rentals office handles inquiries for all five spaces by phone or email.
