Gotham Hall

Gotham Hall occupies the former Greenwich Savings Bank building at Broadway and 36th Street in Midtown Manhattan, steps from Herald Square. The main hall rises seventy feet to a domed stained glass skylight ringed by Corinthian columns and original marble, giving the room a single unbroken sightline that suits both formal dinners and standing receptions. Beyond the Grand Ballroom, the venue includes a separate Lounge, an Oak Room, and a Mezzanine level, so a wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception can each get their own room within the same building. Gotham Hall books one event at a time, and its events team, led by a director of catering and events and a director of special events, handles everything from menu planning to vendor coordination. Past use ranges from weddings and bar and bat mitzvahs to runway shows and corporate product launches, reflecting a building designed to be rented rather than merely admired.
