Capitale occupies a Beaux-Arts former bank building at Bowery and Grand Street on the Lower East Side, converted into an event space with roughly 14,000 square feet across three rooms. The Main Ballroom alone spans 7,000 square feet under a coffered ceiling and holds several hundred guests seated or over a thousand standing, while the adjoining Prefunction Room and Gallery Room give planners separate space for cocktails, registration, or a second program. Capitale hosts a single event at a time, so a wedding, gala, or corporate dinner has full run of the building rather than sharing it with another party. The venue keeps a dedicated events team and in-house catering operation, and its calendar includes galas tied to major cultural moments as well as private weddings and mitzvahs. The scale and formality of the space suit large seated dinners and benefit events more than small gatherings.
