Brooklyn Boulders operates a climbing gym at 23-10 41st Avenue in the Queensbridge section of Long Island City, offering roped climbing and bouldering walls along with day passes, classes and youth programs. Birthday parties run as two hour blocks on Saturdays and Sundays, with other days available on request, for groups of five to thirty climbers. Instructors work at a one to five ratio with participants, fitting gear, teaching basic technique and controlling ropes for climbers on the taller walls. Every party includes a day pass and rental gear for each guest along with time in a party room where families bring their own cake and pizza. A birthday party email address routes bookings and questions directly to the Queensbridge location's kids program rather than a general company line. The gym sits inside a converted industrial building in Long Island City, within reach of both Astoria and the Long Island City waterfront, and serves Queens families along with the climbing gym's regular adult membership base.
