Giant Texas Distillers, formerly known as Gulf Coast Distillers, operates a working distillery and tasting room in Houston's East End, producing whiskey, bourbon, vodka, rum and gin on site. The rustic tasting room seats guests for cocktails and a chef-driven food menu against a backdrop of the distillery's production equipment, and the space can be rented in full or in sections for private events holding up to 200 guests. The distillery publishes a downloadable private events package outlining its rental options and offers guided distillery tours by reservation alongside its regular tasting room service. Private bookings cover birthdays, baby showers, wedding receptions, photo shoots, corporate luncheons and happy hours, arranged through a dedicated phone line and events email. Giant Texas Distillers pairs its production operation with a public-facing bar and event space, giving visitors a view into the distilling process while they drink.
