The Health Museum

The Health Museum sits in Houston's Museum District at 1515 Hermann Drive, a health science museum built around interactive exhibits on the human body. Its private event space centers on the Grand Hall, an open room with terrazzo floors, glass archways and a 50 foot ceiling that can be rented whole or split into Upper and Lower sections. The 129 seat McGovern Theater is available for presentations and screenings, and the museum's Learning Centers convert into classroom style meeting space. Past renters have used the museum for corporate meetings, seminars, galas, seated dinners, receptions and weddings, and a full museum rental option opens every space at once. The museum keeps a preferred vendor list covering catering, photography, florists, a photo booth, furniture rentals, audio visual support and valet, and offers tiered audio visual packages that add microphones, screens, projectors and live recording. A Facility, Rentals and Special Events Manager handles bookings and site visits by request.
