Houston Zoo

The Houston Zoo sits inside Hermann Park and runs a private events program alongside its animal exhibits. Rentable spaces range from small settings like the One Ocean Aquarium and Sea Lion Caves to large halls such as the McGovern Reflections Event Hall and the George R. Brown Conservation Education Center, plus outdoor pavilions including the Masihara Pavilion and the H-E-B Lone Star Pavilion. Renters can also reserve the entire zoo for an exclusive evening event. The zoo hosts galas, rehearsal dinners, company meetings, board meetings, fundraisers and birthday celebrations, and several halls offer built in projection equipment, dimmable lighting and private restrooms. Taste Catering serves as the zoo's full service catering partner, with separate daytime and evening menus. An events team coordinates bookings by phone or email and can combine adjoining venues to raise the guest count for larger events.
