Houston Botanic Garden

Houston Botanic Garden occupies land along Sims Bayou in southeast Houston and rents several of its landscaped spaces for private events. The Global Collection Garden Tent and the smaller Culinary Garden Tent are both climate controlled structures that open onto the surrounding plant collections, while the Woodland Glade offers a partly wooded outdoor setting for up to 200 guests. Smaller options include the covered Petite Pavilion with picnic tables, the bistro table lined Pine Grove, and the semi-enclosed Emily Clay Water Walls courtyard. The garden hosts weddings, corporate luncheons, retreats, conferences and social gatherings, and works with an approved list of full service caterers who also coordinate decor, rental equipment, entertainment, audio visual needs and valet parking. Proceeds from rentals support the nonprofit garden's education and conservation programs, and a venue specialist handles inquiries by phone or email before a site tour.
