Houston Arboretum & Nature Center

Houston Arboretum and Nature Center is a 155 acre nonprofit nature sanctuary on the western edge of Memorial Park, minutes from downtown Houston. Its private rental program spans seven distinct spaces, from the wooded Event Lawn and the concrete Nature Center Courtyard to the pond side Meadow Deck, the wooded Emmott Circle, and indoor Multipurpose Rooms with floor to ceiling windows and a fold down projector screen. The Arboretum hosts wedding ceremonies and receptions, showers, memorial services, and corporate and nonprofit gatherings, with reception capacities running from 50 guests in the smaller rooms up to 400 on the Nature Center Courtyard and Lawn. Rental packages include furniture, linens, lighting and a sound system, with tenting available at additional cost. A Rentals and Wedding Manager coordinates bookings directly, and proceeds from rentals support the Arboretum's conservation and education programs.
