Brennan's of Houston

Brennan's of Houston has occupied a red brick building on Smith Street in Midtown since 1967, serving Creole and Southern dishes to a dining room that draws locals and visitors on the same block as its landmark Courtyard Bar. Beyond the main restaurant, the second floor and ground level hold eight distinct rooms built for private functions, from the 130 person Ballroom, which splits into three smaller sections, down to the 16 person Little Room. A separate Wine Room can connect directly to the Ballroom for combined events up to 200 guests, and the glassed in Solarium and open air Courtyard Balcony give planners both indoor and outdoor options. The restaurant runs a standing private events operation with its own coordinator line and a multi page event planner covering room setup, food and drink minimums, cancellation terms and hors d'oeuvre menus. Brennan's hosts corporate dinners, wedding parties, rehearsal dinners and holiday functions throughout the year in rooms it dresses with white linens, china and glassware as standard.
