State of Grace
Fine dining in Houston
State of Grace has served Southern and Gulf Coast inspired dishes on Westheimer Road since 2015, opened by Atlanta chef Ford Fry under his Rocket Farm Restaurants group. The restaurant is built around a large dining room and a round marble topped Oyster Bar near the entrance, with a separate Private Dining Room enclosed by curtains and doors just off the main floor. That room seats up to 26 for a preset dinner under a chandelier, while the Oyster Bar can be reserved for cocktail style events for up to 35 guests. For larger groups the entire restaurant can be bought out, closing dining room, bar, private room and oyster bar to the public for a seated event of up to 100 or a reception for up to 200. A named event manager runs the private events program, backed by a published floor plan, an event menu and a written FAQ covering deposits and cancellation terms, and events can be booked directly through the restaurant's Tripleseat request form.
