Chapman & Kirby occupies a converted warehouse on Lamar Street in Houston's EaDo district, combining a full restaurant and bar with a dedicated event operation branded as the Houston Event Center. The interior mixes exposed brick, dark leather, antique mirrors and Edison bulbs into what the venue calls a steampunk industrial look, spread across roughly 9,000 square feet with multiple bars and flexible sections. Groups can book a semi-private corner for a 20 person seated dinner or take over the entire building for a cocktail style event of 300 or more guests, with the venue's own copy inviting planners to inquire about renting the whole space. Private event requests run through a Tripleseat booking form rather than a generic contact page, and the venue's in house kitchen and bar staff handle catering and drinks for weddings, corporate parties, watch parties and themed celebrations. Its location places it inside the EaDo warehouse corridor that has become one of Houston's primary industrial event districts, a few blocks from Discovery Green and downtown.
