Sugar Land Ice & Sports Center is Houston's only two-rink skating facility, operating out of a climate-controlled arena in Sugar Land that hosts hockey, figure skating, public skate sessions and private ice rentals. The center runs a dedicated party department distinct from its skating school and league programs, booking both public parties that combine rink admission with a private party room and fully private rentals that reserve an entire rink for up to 50 skaters and spectators for an hour. Every party includes skate rentals, a party room with a hostess for an hour of cake and gifts, and the option to add broomball or sled time during a private booking. The party department is run through a named coordinator who handles bookings by phone or email rather than a general front-desk contact, and the center requires at least two weeks' notice to reserve a date. With two full-size rinks under one roof, Sugar Land Ice can run a public party and a private rental at the same time, giving it more standing capacity for group bookings than a single-rink facility in the same market.
